A creative-anarchist urban escape chronicle

  • resiART, 132 Residenzstraße Berlin, Berlin, 13409 Germany (map)

The whole plot “A creative-anarchist urban escape chronicle” begins with stepping on the U8 in Neukölln and ends with the vision of an unplanned settlement in the last subway station. The event in Reinickendorf consists of: an exhibition, a reading, panel discussion, a performance by the Urban Language Choir and sound art - all of this will take place at the same time and in the same place.

The project is a creative-anarchist investigation of the U8 with experts, authors and artists from diverse cultural backgrounds.

The Reinickendorfer U8-Bahn stations are explored by authors and artists. Subject areas such as demographic change, social development, languages, poetry, colors, noise, rhythm, movement, eternal escape journeys are examined with literary and artistic means such as: video, photo, audio recordings, anecdotes, sketches, verses, sentences and notes. The results of the investigation will be presented in a 4-dimensional event.

The aim of the project is to use the method of creative anarchism to spread a way of thinking and creating that is based on sensuality, openness and diversity. The unique architecture of Reinickendorfer train stations is seen as a "stage design". The train stations are witnesses to demographic changes. Using the method of creative anarchism, these changes along the U8 stations are explored and presented artistically and literary. The project is aimed at postmodern nomads - people from different cultural backgrounds, especially authors, artists, translators and anyone interested in culture. More about it.
