WRITING WORKSHOP

Without BorderS

“And my parents’ migration has not yet calmed in me.” - I offer a unique writing workshop centered on the theme of immigration. Immigrant status is not a prerequisite for exploring this topic; emigration entails complexities beyond geographical relocation. In our sessions, we'll delve into the broader implications of immigration, encompassing shifts in residence, career, farewells to loved ones, and the adaptation to new environments. Writing from diverse perspectives and in various languages—including German, English, Hebrew, and more—we'll explore the multifaceted nature of the immigrant experience. This workshop equips participants with the tools to reconsider notions of the "other" and navigate the challenges of straddling two worlds, cultures, languages, and memories. Through this cultural intersection, we'll craft new perspectives previously unexplored. Additionally, our writing sessions will collectively hone fundamental writing skills.
