he ELK festival is organized by an NGO (In-Hause.V.), an independent publishing house (parasitenpresse) and a literary magazine (kLiteratur– Cologne literary magazine). We are committed to making literary voices from Europe and beyond heard. We believe in the idea of Europe as a meeting place for different voices, thoughts and concepts – even though the actual (migration) policy of the EU-Parliament speaks a different, a brutal and cynical language. The ELK is a utopia for a weekend in which poets and people come together to meet, read and listen. It is the place to use one’s tongues and ears. Details soon.
