L’chaim means: “To life!” Our “Auf ein Wort” (To a Word) festival welcomes Jewish authors and actors to a lively dialogue.
Since its founding in 2015, readings and events on literature and its power or powerlessness have been an integral part of the program of the Center for Persecuted Arts. It is not only about the past, the 20th century, but also always about our present. Among other things, the museum is contributing a European word festival to the commemorative year 2021 Jewish Life in Germany. Contemporary writers such as Lena Gorelik, Olga Grjasnowa, Adrian Kasnitz, Dmitrij Kapitelman, Mati Shemoelof and others will read.
