Israeli writing outside of Israel

"Things That You See from Here" is an anthology of Israeli writing outside of Israel (who is currently at work). The anthology is edited by Yaron Avitov and Mati Shemoelof. It includes as many creative forces of writers who continue to create and publish in Hebrew outside of Israel. The collection will include stories and poems. It deals with issues of identity, immigration, Judaism, nostalgia, the tension between homeland memory and integration and assimilation, political alternative and others. The identity that crumbles upon the withdrawal from the borders of nationalism is rebuilt in works, in poetic and formal structures, and pours it into a new way by which we identify ourselves. We want to capture this moment in poetry and prose.
